This role involves ensuring that drivers’ jobs are inspected and streamlined for efficiency while providing accurate and timely information to the Distribution Manager.

Job Overview

As an Experienced Clerk, you will:

• Ensure driver jobs are checked to identify concerns.
• Improve driver administrative behavior and streamline reconciliation processes.
• Provide timely reports and data to the Distribution Manager.
• Perform general office administration and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you need:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF4 qualification.
• Relevant experience with job-related concepts, techniques, and processes.
• Fluent business English.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Debrief Process

• Inspect driver jobs and identify issues.
• Plan and prepare driver jobs to simplify reconciliation.
• Provide accurate and timely updates to the Distribution Manager.
• Support drivers in maintaining administrative accuracy and efficiency.

2. Administration

• Capture truck and driver documentation.
• Maintain interbranch and satellite reports.
• Check, control, and print invoices and load sheets.
• Follow up on queries and report deviations in truck arrival times.
• Close routes on the ERMS system.

3. General Duties

• Perform general office tasks, including maintaining records and filing systems.
• Handle and process documentation as required.
• Communicate with customers and employees effectively.
• Provide relief for colleagues when needed.
