What You’ll Be Doing

Here’s a glimpse of your responsibilities in this exciting role:

• Electrical Maintenance: Keep all building electrical systems, installations, and equipment in top condition.
• Routine Inspections: Conduct regular checks, document findings, and take corrective actions where needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and performance standards, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with electrical reticulation, three-phase controls, and equipment.
• Repairs and Upgrades: Fix or upgrade building fixtures, fittings, and electrical components as needed.
• Stock Management: Monitor tools and equipment, track stock, and notify the Property Manager about additional requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with contractors and provide support for tasks assigned by the Property Manager.

What You Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone with the right skills and qualifications to excel in this role:

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or N3 equivalent.
• Red Seal Certification.
• Three-Phase Electrical Tester qualification.
• Wireman’s license (essential).
• Valid driver’s license.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years in the electrical field.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform maintenance tasks effectively.
• Flexibility to handle irregular work hours when needed.
• Proficiency in planning and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
