Job Description

As part of the SGS team, you will be responsible for ensuring site cleanliness, adhering to safety and quality standards, and performing laboratory and fieldwork tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the site or workshop after completing tasks or at the end of the day.
• Ensure the workspace is free of consumables like masking tapes and tins after tasks are completed.
• Adhere to SGS management system’s quality and safety requirements.
• Report any deviations, irregularities, or non-conformances verbally.
• Perform field and laboratory work, including sampling, calculations, and testing, with precision.
• Maintain discipline within the assigned department.
• Perform any reasonable tasks assigned by the site supervisor, laboratory manager, or regional manager.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
• Proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID document.
• Must be aged 18–30 years.
• Currently unemployed with no criminal record.
• Willing to relocate to Richards Bay.
• Exceptional computer literacy (MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong skills in:
  • Data analysis

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in task completion.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
